The Judicial Authority (State of Israel)
Project for the Israeli Court Houses Digital Documenting System based, on MyNotes SDK
The Israeli Court Houses request was to migrate to digital documents. From the beginning, we convinced them to choose PDF as their standard format. This was a key decision made by the Israeli court system management, which would eliminate the need of scans (.tiff) and Microsoft Word (.doc) joining all documents into one convenient and open format. The project called for advanced capabilities to allow the judges to place either personal, group or public comments over the documents, and save them with special permissions so only authorized viewers can view and edit the comments.
Implementing the Adobe LiveCycle Reader Extensions enabled the system users to comment and annotate documents without relying on additional tools besides Adobe Reader. In addition, we developed in MyNotes SDK the permissions-based commenting system which ensured that comments would be edited and viewed only by authorized users.
The system supports over 3,000 general users (including 1,500 editing users) in dozens of court houses across Israel and is installed on Documentum content management system.
Vishay
One of the world's largest manufacturers of discrete semiconductors and passive components decided to go digital with purchase approval procedures.
2Win-Solutions implemented the Adobe LiveCycle PDF Generator to streamline the automated conversion of daily orders from Excel into PDF. The next step was to allow several managers to digitally sign the PDF, made possible by implementing the Sign2Go SDK and allowing automatic server-side digital signing by multiple users.
Barak
Barak 013 is one of the largest communication and telecom companies in Israel.
This telecom operator decided to implement digital signature security into their digital invoicing system. This was achieved with the 2Win-Solutions Sign2Go Server which receives PDFs produced in the Barak invoicing system, and signs the invoice with the Company's PKI Digital Signature. Signed invoices are then dispatched to customers by email and archived in the company's digital repository.

Mercantile Bank
Mercantile Bank of Israel has completed a successful installation of Page2Go, enabling fast and efficient digital form processing and publishing. The product has been implemented into the bank portal and now serves more than 60 branches all over the country.
Page2Go provides the bank a comprehensive solution for forms deployment, versioning and processing using templates which were created in Adobe PDF format, and a few in Microsoft Word. The solution includes permission and security features to ensure only authorized employees can access and process the customers requests.
Our local partner for this project (Telem), has customized the system, offering an interactive contact management module complete with search capabilities and visual identification and some other specific requests of Merkantile bank.
Tmura
Tmura, a major subsidiary of Clal insurance company, selected Page2Go for its form processing solution upgrade. The previous system was based on Micorsoft Word templates, which presented several limitations:
• Forms did not maintain the same-as-paper look & feel
• Customers could easily modify the form, making data collection awkward and difficult to automate
• Authoring the templates was complicated and required the assistance of a technical specialist
• Word documents did not enable data collection directly from the database
• Word forms did not enable combo or check boxes
• Forms were typically printed out on paper and filled-up by hand, defeating the original purpose of the online system
The new Page2Go system did not require any technical support to build new form templates. In addition, PDF forms preserve the look & feel of the original paper document, regardless of screen resolution or printer type.
• Data collection using PDF is fully automated by Page2Go, removing human-generated errors
• Forms don't need anymore to be printed out in order to collect data
• Form templates enabled the integration of business logic in PDF smart fields to perform automated calculation and validation.
Ultimately, Page2Go is intuitive and easy to use, saves significant labor resources, and has an indispensable tool within the company that employs over 250 people and works with 300 different form templates.
The Israeli Securities Authority (ISA)
Magna is the Israeli Securities Authority (ISA) reporting system, similar to the Edgar system in the USA, it was designed to receive data online and populate reports needed from public companies.
Magna allows ISA to quickly check financial statements while saving the reporting bodies significant cost, as they do not have to print and send reports by mail or courier.
2Win-Solutions developed a tailor-made solution providing a Microsoft Word macro, Acrobat plug-in and a server-based application to check both on client side and server side documents fonts conformity and make sure the documents do not contain malicious items. 2Win-Solution provided more than 1,000 reporters, most of whom are not computer literate, an easy and elegant solution. With just a few clicks, they can create, check conformity and seal PDF documents, while the Magna system takes care of the digitally signed delivery.
This was the first time an Israeli government agency made use of Digital Signature technology to secure and authenticate Digital Documents.
Orange
Orange Israel integrated our solution as the company's output and digital form-filling system. Replacing paper forms and limited flash memory cards, the current digital solution enables Orange service representatives to fill forms remotely across Orange's service kiosks. The forms are pre-filled with XML data, leaving the customer to sign by hand on a dedicated Wacom pad. Filled forms are saved and signed in their original format. Orange employees then either archive the forms or print them out.
Key Benefits for Orange:
- Significantly reduce paper storage
- Implement changes to form templates at all remote locations
- Print out forms easily (compatible with any device or driver)
- Archive forms digitally
- Eliminate scanning requirements
- Enable insertion of Digital Signature
- Move from 2 weeks to immediate form processing time
Tel Aviv Jaffa Municipality
The largest municipal authority in Israel and one of the country's early adopters of digital solutions, the Tel Aviv-Jaffa municipality was in need of a digital system to enable sending a Kindergarten registration document for approval.
The PDF format was selected for this task due to layout fidelity when viewed on screen or printed on paper. In order to produce the PDF registration receipt, the municipality selected 2Win-Solutions and services. The HTML information received by registrants via a web form is converted to XML data automatically, and placed in the respective form fields within the PDF form template. Migrating to digital form registration saved queue and clerk time, as well as paper usage and physical paper archival problems. Ultimately, the solution streamlined the registration process for all parties involved.
